Why do we have to suffer the loss of our beloved babies? Why do they leave us so soon? Why do they have a short lifespan?Many questions are swarming in my head.
We all know that every living thing has to face death. The Creator of this Universe knows best, and we all are helpless in this matter. But how can one assuage the pain of irrevocable loss.
One day, we all will perish. Time is the best healer. It makes you able to realise the bitter truth of death. But the mere sight of his belongings makes you sad, and tears make rivulets down your face. With time, you try to normalize the grief, but the pain only you can feel surfaces again.
Midnight time, Zeus's labored breathing, our car zooming toward the clinic, sparse traffic on the roads, oxygen mask on his mouth, cold examination table, doctor's relentless efforts to save this innocent soul...No one was prepared for this tragedy.
With a heavy heart, I bid farewell to my precious furbaby, Zeus.
There's always a wait for Zeus. Zeus is going upstairs. He's hiding under the bed...
I still expect him to greet me at the door and look toward the cupboard and realise there will be no more demand for treats.
His personalized collar is waiting on top of the table. Blue and red veranda houses are empty. Cardboard boxes look sad without him. They want to get scratched by Zeus's claws. The red and white cat tree awaits him. The chair in front of the window is waiting for the most calm and sweet boy of the town. The most friendly feline of my home is no more with us. I can never forget you, my handsome boy. You'll always remain in my heart. ๐ช๐ช๐ช๐ช๐ช
